Government Medical Colleges in Delhi

Jamia Hamdard University, located in New Delhi, is a private deemed-to-be university and not affiliated with Delhi University. Its medical college, the Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR), offers MBBS and postgraduate programs. HIMSR is affiliated with Jamia Hamdard and operates as a private institution. In contrast, Delhi University (DU) has its own affiliated medical colleges, such as Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), and Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC). These institutions are affiliated with DU and are separate from Jamia Hamdard.
